Our Work Plan
The IMAGINE-HMB project is structured around 6 strictly linked work packages.
This WP focusses on planning, monitoring and coordinating the project activities to ensure that project goals and requirements are successfully met. Technical and scientific supervision are provided, and contingency plans to address potential risks. Moreover, this WP includes the administrative and financial management of the project, to ensure fulfilment of the financial tasks.
This WP focusses on the constitution of the Expert Forum. The Project Coordinators will define objectives, structure and operational guidelines for the Statute of the Forum. An open call has been already launched, and selected Experts will be engaged to constitute the Forum of Expert. Moreover, relevant stakeholders will be identified and contacted to collaborate with the project.
This WP focusses on drafting EU-wide guidelines on the technical standards and oversight requirements to be adopted by entities and establishments handling human milk. First step will include review of current evidence and in-depth analysis of existing guidelines, both at national and international levels. Dedicated surveys will be conducted to gather on-field data.
This WP focusses on identifying, analysing and addressing gaps and practices in HMB which diverge from EU guidelines. After this analysis, an implementation plan with recommended actions will be defined and shared with DHM entities and establishments, and with competent authorities. Secondly, a post-project strategy will be outlined, to guarantee future updates of the guidelines and ongoing operativity of the Expert Forum. Finally, a quali-quantitative assessment of the outcomes of the project will be performed.
This WP focusses on designing a comprehensive training programme. We will identify key stakeholders’ categories which will be targeted by the training programme, and design the most suitable training tools for each of the targeted groups. The training topics will be prioritised to ensure that procedures most impacting on safety and compliance are duly covered.
This WP focusses on designing and implementing a dissemination and communication plan. Key stakeholders’ categories will be targeted by the dissemination programme, and the most suitable tools will be selected to reach each of the targeted groups. A scientific publication plan will be defined, to ensure dissemination of project results through open access journals. Dissemination events directed to targeted stakeholders will be organised
